Reynolds Graves is a Vice President based in New York working with a cross-section of corporate and non-profit clients. He brings over a decade of experience in public policy, government relations and public affairs.
Prior to joining SKDK, Graves worked at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law in Washington D.C. where he developed and executed communications strategies that advanced the organization’s mission and issue area topics.
Prior to the Lawyers’ Committee, Graves served as the Director of Government Relations for the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department in Boston, MA where he directed the department’s policies and objectives involving local, state, and federal government relations while monitoring legislative and regulatory activity. Prior to his work at the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department, Graves was a Senior Public Affairs Associate at Rasky Partners. There his work included the implementation of grassroots initiatives and the formation and execution of business development strategies. Before his time at Rasky Partners, Reynolds served as a Deputy Chief of Staff on the Boston City Council and Assistant Director of Personnel for Massachusetts Governor Deval L. Patrick.
During college, Reynolds interned in the United State Congress, at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, Egypt and in the Obama White House in the Office of Vice President Joe Biden. Reynolds was born and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan and graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
