Marisa is a member of the New York public affairs team developing and executing communications strategy for the firm’s nonprofit, advocacy, corporate, and philanthropic clients.
At SKDK, Marisa has helped drive campaigns to protect and expand access to reproductive healthcare, revamp healthcare delivery and successful access models for the most vulnerable communities in New York City, and position corporations, CEOs, and business’s top minds at the forefront of their fields. She works closely with clients to secure impactful coverage in premier national and local news outlets from The New York Times to NY1.
Marisa also has a background in consumer public relations, previously advising and supporting brands in the food and beverage space on strategies and solutions for communicating with Hispanic audiences.
Marisa is originally from a border town in south Texas and is a native Spanish speaker. She graduated with a degree in public policy and communications from Syracuse University.
