Kat Capossela

Kat is an Associate in SKDK’s New York City public affairs team. Bringing her experience in NY-based politics, advocacy, and media, Kat first joined as an intern and has since worked with a variety of political and corporate clients.

Prior to SKDK, Kat served as a scheduler and finance assistant to Lucy Lang during her campaign for Manhattan District Attorney, a former SKDK client who is now New York’s Inspector General. Kat also worked at the New York Civil Liberties Union, where she advocated for progressive voting rights bills to NY state senators and conducted research for lawsuits on police misconduct and school board elections, among others. Previously, Kat worked on branded marketing campaigns at The Atlantic Magazine. She also teaches vinyasa yoga.

Originally from Boston, Kat graduated from Swarthmore College with High Honors in political science and English literature, and she served as the president of the student body for two years.
