Jessica Floyd

Jessica is a member of the New York Public Affairs team, working on a variety of SKDKnickerbocker’s corporate, advocacy and nonprofit accounts.

Prior to SKDK, Jessica gained extensive legislative, advocacy and media experience through internships with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, AARP, MSNBC, NBC News and WNPR. During her time in Washington, Jessica earned the Deborah Orin Memorial White House Correspondents’ Association Scholarship for her reporting on the State of the Union Address and coverage of the 2019 federal shutdown.

Jessica is a New York native who holds a master’s degree in Journalism from Northwestern University with a concentration in Politics and National Security. She completed her undergraduate degree at University of Hartford, graduating with Honors in Politics and Government, and minors in Africana Studies, Communications and Sociology.
