Bridget Bartol is a skilled communications strategist and media relations practitioner with experience in government, campaigns and public affairs.

Prior to SKDK, she managed media strategy and messaging for transportation-energy policy at Securing America’s Future Energy–including self-driving vehicles, fuel economy regulations and electric vehicle adoption. Bridget served as Deputy Press Secretary at the Department of Energy during the Obama Administration, acting as an agency spokesperson and guiding communications for program offices.

Prior to her appointment, she was a Senior Associate at Dewey Square Group in Boston providing media training, message development and rapid response for corporate and advocacy clients. She also worked at The Smith-Free Group, a bipartisan government relations firm in Washington D.C.

A Florida Native, Bridget graduated from the University of Florida.
