Digital Fundraising Associate

SKDK, the Holmes Report 2019 Public Affairs Agency of the Year is looking for a Digital Fundraising Associate to join our expanding digital fundraising vertical either in our New York City or Washington, D.C. office. If you are passionate about digital fundraising, advertising, learning new strategies and tactics in a constantly shifting space this is the position for you. While this position’s primary focus is on building and growing email and SMS fundraising programs, there is ample opportunity to work with digital advertising, social media, media campaigns, and anything else that intersects with digital acquisition, persuasion and mobilization.

Required Skills:

  • Basic HTML/CSS experience
  • Understanding of EveryAction and ActBlue systems
  • Able to craft quality email fundraising and advocacy copy
  • Pulling analytical reports on email, ad, and social media campaigns
  • Able to execute monthly communications calendars

Position Responsibilities:

  • Produce, target and test mass email communications
  • Develop creative campaigns and strategies
  • Provide top-quality customer service to clients, including regular reporting
  • Assess digital marketing, advocacy and technology needs
  • Identify future needs and opportunities
  • Work with internal teams, including technology and creative
  • Take part in client calls, take notes, and think creatively and proactively about how to add value to digital programming
  • Day-to-day management of client relationships and satisfaction

Experience: 1-3 cycles working in digital marketing. Preference given to people with direct experience with email fundraising programs.
