Tyler’s experience in media analysis, crisis communications, and digital advocacy helps him craft winning media strategies for SKDKnickerbocker’s corporate and non-profit clients. Prior to joining the firm’s public affairs team, Tyler worked at Media Matters for America, where he executed rapid response research and writing in response to emerging media trends and misinformation in the news cycle. He also led the organization’s digital marketing and online advocacy initiatives. Prior to Media Matters, Tyler interned at the Center for American Progress, BOTEC Analysis, and for Rep. Henry Waxman and California Sen. Fran Pavley.
Tyler is a Los Angeles native and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a degree in political science and minors in civic engagement and gender studies.
