Mary Robbins

Mary helps CEOs, political candidates, and leaders of global non-profit organizations tell their stories with memorable, engaging speeches and winning media appearances.

Prior to joining SKDK, Mary was a speechwriter for Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), as the senator achieved bipartisan budget agreements, promoted women’s economy security from the well of the U.S. Senate, and overhauled the nation’s K-12 education law. Mary has led the debate strategy and preparation for congressional and statewide political candidates. And she has advised speakers backstage at two Democratic National Conventions before they took the stage in front of a packed arena and millions of people watching at home.

Previously, Mary worked on the campaign trail as policy director for Senator Ed Markey and as press secretary for Senator Mark Pryor. She got her start in speechwriting in the office of EPA Administration Lisa P. Jackson.
