Jake leads SKDK’s digital practice across corporate, nonprofit and political clients. He uses his experience in politics, startups and digital marketing to help clients find creative ways to get their message in front of the right people.
Jake joined SKDKnickerbocker from Code and Theory, the digital-first creative agency within the Stagwell Group where he led product and brand strategy for some of the agency’s largest and most strategic accounts, including Comcast and Gillette.
Prior to Code & Theory, Jake was a co-founder of Blood, Sweat & Cheers, a digital content platform and active lifestyle brand acquired in 2015 by Greatist, the nation’s biggest publisher of health and wellness content for millennials. As Digital Marketing Director at Blood, Sweat & Cheers, Jake led audience development and media partnerships, and built the advertising business which produced branded content for clients like Intel’s Basis, Reebok and MillerCoors.
Before Blood, Sweat & Cheers, Jake worked in both corporate and political communications, first as a senior economic policy advisor to the Leader of the Official Opposition in Ontario’s Legislative Assembly, then as Chief of Staff to the Head of Communications at AOL in New York.
Between these roles, Jake earned his MBA from INSEAD in Singapore and Fontainebleau, France.
