Cristina Rue is active across the firm’s practices, providing valuable strategic counsel to corporate, nonprofit and political clients in the United States and abroad. She uses her experience in communications and international affairs to craft robust campaigns, secure media coverage and provide guidance on messaging and targeting.
Prior to joining SKDK, Cristina worked at CLS Strategies, where she focused on the firm’s international and public affairs portfolio, advising foreign governments, plaintiffs in high-stakes litigation and notable corporate entities. In 2015, she was named one of PR News’ Rising PR Stars 30 & Under, and in 2017 she received Miami University’s 18 of the Last 9 Young Alumni Award, which recognizes 18 exceptional Miami alumni from the past nine years.
A native of Venezuela, Cristina is fluent in Spanish. She holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Miami University.
