Obama Can Claim Progress on Economy

SKDK Managing Director Alex Slater penned an article for The Guardian, that while the economy  remains a vexing issue, during the 2012 presidential campaign, President Obama will be able to forcefully assert that progress has been made.

Slater wrote in part, “The management of the economy is not likely to be judged on static conditions on election day, but rather the direction the economy is seen to be heading in the run-up . . . If economic indicators are trending in the right direction, the public is highly likely to give President Obama the benefit of the doubt.”
