Anita Dunn on CNN’s State of the Union: Both Romney and Gingrich Offer American People Same Bad Package
On Sunday December 11, SKDK Managing Director Anita Dunn appeared with former Republican Congressman Tom Davis on CNN’s State of the Union to discuss the aftermath of Saturday’s Republican Debate.
Dunn: “The reality is both of these candidates are offering the American people the same bad package…Whoever wins the Republican nomination, is going to be a candidate who has said that they want to privatize Social Security…privatize Medicare and turn it into a voucher system. Whoever wins the Republican nomination is going to be a candidate who has said that they are opposed, given whatever day of the week it is, to a payroll tax cut to regular, average Americans but they want to protect low tax rates for the wealthiest.”
