Alex Slater: Obama Re-elect In Better Shape Than Poll Numbers Reflect

In a recent article for the Guardian, SKDK Managing Director Alex Slater explains why Obama’s poll numbers do not spell disaster. He suggests that while the sagging poll numbers “reflect Americans’ immediate dissatisfaction with the economy, next year’s election results will not depend on such a simple calculation.” Instead, the President’s Democratic base will be driven to the polls by their belief that Obama and his economic team offer considerably more hope for the future than the Republican opposition.
