Sally has been with SKDKnickerbocker since 2003 and heads the market research department. She also assists with the firm’s media and strategy campaigns.

Corporate Market Research

Sally’s market research includes work for corporate clients such as Allstate, American Express, General Mills, Motorola, XM Radio, Kraft Foods and both Reliant and NRG Energy. In addition, she is overseeing the expansion of SKDK’s market research department through exploratory projects using non-traditional and cutting edge methods of research.

Political Races and Special Projects

Sally has worked on a number of SKDK’s political campaigns—most recently Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s 2009 re-election campaign and in 2010, she assisted with the DSCC advertising campaign in Nevada, helping Senator Harry Reid win re-election.

In addition she has worked on Maryland Congressman Frank Kratovil’s 2008 campaign and Doug Gansler’s successful race for Maryland Attorney General. In 2005, she was the creative director for the print campaign for Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s re-election campaign. And in 2004, Sally coordinated the competitive for the Kerry/Edwards General Election campaign monitoring per state the media buys and tracking television and radio spots.

In the 2007 cycle, Sally and Jim Mulhall were commissioned by Italian artist Francesco Vezzoli to help with his 2007 Biennale Venice Art Festival submission, “Democrazy.” The alternate take on political advertising featured Sharon Stone and French philosopher Bernard Henri Levi as Republicans and Democrats running for the Presidency and was on international display in Venice for the duration of the festival.

Sally graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Journalism from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. At Carolina, she wrote for the award winning newspaper, the Daily Tar Heel, and served on the Honor Court. She currently lives in Georgetown with her husband Patrick and their dog Riley.
