Nicole Gill
Nicole is a Senior Associate at SKDKnickerbocker in the firm’s political practice. Nicole supports and manages the development, creation and execution of the firm’s paid media including direct mail, radio, digital and television advertising.
At SKDKnickerbocker Nicole has been involved in developing paid media strategies and products for political, labor, non-profit and corporate clients. In 2010 Nicole worked on teams that helped elect or re-elect Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy, Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and Rochester Mayor Tom Richards. Most recently she coordinated paid media for New York’s successful effort to pass same-sex marriage working with Managing Director Jennifer Cunningham and New Yorkers United for Marriage.
Prior to joining SKDK, Nicole held a fellowship in development and external affairs with a New York City charter school, worked as a communications aide in a New York City Council election campaign, and interned on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” Nicole graduated from NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration specializing in public policy and political analysis. While at NYU she worked as a graduate teaching assistant for former Democratic media and political strategist Bob Shrum. She graduated with honors from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario and is a proud Canadian-American dual-citizen.
