Calvin Harris, II
Calvin Harris, II brings a wide range of political and communications experience to SKDKnickerbocker. Calvin’s experience includes working on electoral and ballot referendum campaigns at the local, state and national levels. Calvin has worked for many SKDKnickerbocker clients, ranging from government agencies to advocacy organizations to political campaigns.
In addition, stints at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Congressional Black Caucus have helped Calvin develop a wide range of skill sets essential for tackling a range of communication challenges.
Prior to joining the firm, Calvin worked for Dewey Square Group in Boston, Massachusetts, where he worked on corporate, advocacy and crisis communications in the firm’s public affairs department. With a strong academic and policy background, Calvin was selected as a Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) Fellow at the University of Michigan and has conducted research at some of the top policy think tanks in the country.
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Calvin holds a B.A. in Sociology and Political Science from Morehouse College and a M.A. in Public Policy from The Heller School at Brandeis University.
