Andrew Shipley is currently a Vice-President at SKDKnickerbocker. He joined the firm in 2001 and has been working in the production department as Production Manager for the majority of his tenure.  He has recently expanded his role to Account Representative and is currently working with Bill Knapp on a gubernatorial campaign.

In 2010, Andrew helped write and produce four long format videos for The Carlyle Group’s annual investor meeting. Working with Bill Knapp, Andrew helped The Carlyle Group tell their unique story to an audience of 900 investors. The project required shooting across the globe, including interviews in Hong Kong that were conducted by Andrew.

Also in 2010, Andrew helped produce various television commercials for congressional, senate and gubernatorial candidates across the nation, including Dan Malloy, the first Democratic elected governor in Connecticut in 26 years. Andrew also helped produce commercials for various charter school organizations last year.

In the 2009 cycle, Andrew helped facilitate the logistics in successfully running the first high definition political campaign for the Bloomberg for Mayor campaign.

In 2008, Andrew worked on various campaigns throughout the country. As part of the Obama for America campaign, Andrew helped produce many ads for testing purposes as well as for on-air. Andrew was also responsible for setting up multiple shoots on location in Louisiana for the successful re-election campaign for Senator Landrieu.

In previous years, Andrew has traveled the country setting up location shoots in Chicago, North Dakota, Florida and Connecticut, among others.

Andrew is a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. He currently lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife Laura.
