Abigail Gardner brings extensive communications and media experience to SKDKnickerbocker’s public affairs team, where she works on a variety of public affairs projects for corporate and non-profit clients.

Prior to joining SKDK, Abigail played an integral role on the press team of several successful political campaigns, including Spitzer-Paterson 2006 and Maffei for Congress 2008. Abigail has worked in both the executive and legislative chambers at the state and federal level.

Abigail served in the press office of the Governor of New York where she designed and implemented media tours and events for the Governor and managed incoming local and national media requests.  After several years in the Empire State, Abigail moved to Washington, D.C., where she worked as communications director for Congressman Maffei.

With a history of earning positive press coverage in small and large markets, Abigail has a breadth of experience and contacts to draw from to assist SKDK’s clients.

Abigail is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a graduate of the University of Virginia.
